The National Scrappage Scheme

With the new scrappage scheme it has never been a better time to buy a car.

The National Scrappage Scheme can help to reduce your Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT). The scheme applies when a new passenger car is bought with CO2 emissions of no more than 140g/km (C02 Band A or B). The scheme will run from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2010 and the VRT relief available is up to €1,500, now is the time to buy a new car!
